Last summer I was shocked to run into this little critter...I had to research what it was and found that it was a hummingbird moth. What a cool little moth to watch!! It is not the clearest but I thought you'd all enjoy this anyway. 
I took these with a point and shoot and am hoping that it comes back this summer now that I have a better camera.
The plant is a milkweed in full bloom...pretty beautiful for something most people feel is a weed!

Haha, kind of looks like it has a lobster tail. Great shot though, a little blurry but I'm not expecting it was sitting in one spot for too long. ;D
